Age

You must be at least 12 years old to play (PEGI 12). If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must read and accept these terms with you and approve any purchase.

Your account

You can play as a guest or create an account with your email address. A guest’s progress lives only on that device and is lost if the game is removed; an account keeps it on our servers.

Keep your password to yourself and use a real email address you can reach. You are responsible for what happens on your account. Accounts are personal: do not share, sell, buy or trade them.

You can delete your account at any time in the game’s Warden screen or on our account deletion page.

Ichor and other virtual items

Ichor, heroines, cards, Familiars, Grave Goods and every other in-game item are a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use them inside the game. They are not your property, have no real-world money value and cannot be exchanged for money, sold or transferred outside what the game itself allows.

We keep improving the game, so the way items work, their balance and their appearance may change over time.

Purchases and refunds

Ichor is sold on Android through Google Play (and on PC through Steam once the game is released there), at the price the store shows you. The store handles the payment; we never see your payment details.

Refunds follow the store’s own policy: on Android, request them from Google Play. If a purchase is refunded, charged back or cancelled, the Ichor it delivered is taken back from your balance.

Apart from the store’s refund policy and the rights your local law gives you, a purchase is final once its Ichor has been delivered. Where the law gives you a right of withdrawal, you agree that delivery starts at once and that the right ends when the Ichor is delivered, as far as the law allows.

Exhume (random draws)

Exhuming gives random heroines and items and can be paid for with Ichor. The odds for every banner and the pity rules (a guaranteed result after a set number of draws) are published in the game under Exhume → Rates and rules before you draw. What you receive is decided on our servers by those published rates.

Fair play

To keep the game fair and safe for everyone, you agree not to:

• cheat, use bots, modified clients, hacks or any tool that automates play or changes how the game works;
• exploit bugs: please report them to us instead;
• reverse engineer, decompile or tamper with the game or its servers, except where the law expressly allows it;
• sell, buy or trade accounts, Ichor or items for real money or outside the game;
• choose a display name that is offensive, hateful, sexual, impersonates someone (including our staff) or infringes someone else’s rights;
• overload, attack or try to get unauthorised access to our servers or other players’ accounts.

Suspension and closing accounts

If you break these terms we may remove items gained unfairly, reset progress, suspend or close the account. For serious cheating, fraud or attacks we may act immediately; otherwise we will tell you first where we can. If you think we made a mistake, write to us and a person will review it.

You can stop playing and delete your account at any time.

The game and its content

The game, its characters, art, music, voices, story and code belong to us or our licensors. We give you a personal, non-commercial licence to install and play it on your own devices. We may update the game, require an update to keep playing, take servers down for maintenance or change features.

The Pale Realm is an online game. If we ever decide to end it, we will announce it in the game at least 30 days in advance.

Liability

We work hard to keep the game running, but we provide it as it is and as available, without promising that it will always be free of errors or interruptions. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes

If these terms change we will update the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the game before they apply. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms.
